Born and educated in the United Kingdom, Philip G. Beynon designed and implemented the world's first computerized
order entry system for the steel industry as Senior Systems Analyst with The Steel Company of Wales Ltd.Mr. Beynon was subsequently invited to join Logica Ltd. of London, a leading U.K.
Systems and Management Consulting organization, as Senior Consultant to high level personnel on major national government projects.
In 1973, he became Principal Lecturer in Project Management with
International Computers Ltd. designing a project management training course which was presented many times in Holland, Australia and the United Kingdom.
In 1976, he relocated to Australia where he held
senior management positions before forming his own project management consultancy in 1980. Mr. Beynon was Project Manager of a number of major computer installations in various sectors of industry and
was also acknowledged as a specialist in trouble-shooting and in the recovery of critical situations. It was at this time that he researched and created his 5 day Practical Project Skills Training
course (...PPST!) which was enthusiastically received by managers of national and multi-national organizations.
Relocating to Canada, Mr. Beynon held a project management consulting position before,
in 1983, once again forming his own organization.
His training courses have now been presented many, many times in Canada, Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom and Latin America. Many
organizations large and small have subscribed to the public and private seminars presented by Mr. Beynon who has the exceptional reputation of leaving a lasting, professional impression on his
students, many of whom now hold top executive positions in organizations world-wide.
As President of Philip G. Beynon & Associates Inc., Mr. Beynon is responsible for providing consulting
services and project management expertise to clients at a senior level in addition to directing the day to day activities of his organization.
Mr. Beynon regularly appears as a guest speaker at
various functions in North and South America.
