Following a distinguished educational career at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada, Mr. Peterman
has gained a wealth of experience in the field of project management with particular expertise in project planning, large and small scale.In 1974, Mr. Peterman joined IBM Canada Ltd. and,
in various capacities, was involved with the installation of many and varied project management software packages in large organizations across a wide range of industries. Specialist knowledge of
competitive products was a pre-requisite for his activities.
Whilst at IBM, he acted as Systems Consultant and, latterly, was the Western Canadian Support Specialist for the corporation's
project management software product line with specific expertise in the packages PROJACS and PMS-IV. In 1976 he received a Special Achievement Award for his contribution to bringing a world-first
project to completion on-time and cost effectively.
In 1978, Mr. Peterman joined Sydney Development Corporation of Vancouver, British Columbia as a Project Management Consultant and was
involved in the marketing and implementation of many consulting assignments in client organizations throughout Europe and North America. He authored a course on project management and delivered this on
a number of occasions.
His technical flair was utilized to the full when he subsequently assumed the role of Product Manager with specific responsibility for ensuring the timely
introduction of a variety of software products. Mr. Peterman also gained an enviable reputation as a technical support specialist resulting in extensive travel throughout North America. In 1982, he
received a special award for excellence in performance and dedication to the corporation.
Since 1983, Mr. Peterman has been closely associated with Philip G. Beynon & Associates Inc. as a
Senior Consultant and has, therefore, extensive experience in the management, technical and training aspects of project management and planning. His specialist knowledge of planning and planning
techniques, combined with his understanding of major planning software packages for personal computers are of considerable significance. This infinite depth of knowledge together with his excellent
communication and inter-personal skills are admirable qualifications for the role he plays with the organization.
